My deepest condolences to John and Amiee and the rest of the family at the loss of beautiful Eve. She was a shining light. I'm so glad we got to spend quality time together not too long ago. She gave me a four hour tour around our hometown of Stamford. We talked, we laughed, we reminisced. We had breakfast at the Diner and she told me all about the cancer. I thought she was so honest, so open and so very, very brave. And again, a year or so later, we spent the afternoon at her beloved beach club. I will always cherish those memories. We have all lost one great gal. Always, Cindy Steele

To John and Family,
I send my deepest wishes of condolences to you and your family. Please know that I hold Eve in my heart now as I have always done. I was her teacher, mentor and friend.
Her tribute to me as an inspiration in her life is the finest accolade I have ever recceived and I am touched beyond words that she would have me in her last thoughts. Such things are not lightly done. I shall treasure that.
May you alll find comfort in your best memories of her as a vivacious, bright and beautiful woman. She had courage and remarkable determination and success as a beloved teacher. She was loved by many.
I love her dearly with a deep and abiding love.
Stay Well, Go Well

Dear Madigan family,
I am devastated to learn of Eve's passing. When I first moved to Stamford, she was such an amazing new friend. She took me under her wing and helped me settle into a new city and a difficult new job. She listened to me cry and complain and always had a hug or a joke to make me smile. She told me to be strong and stand up for myself and she was always by my side and had my back. Eve was always smiling and laughing and loving life. She desperately loved her family I know how proud she was of Aimee. I know how much she loved the beach (she took me to the club on one of our first lunch dates) and I will forever remember her friendship as I look out onto the Long Island Sound. She will be missed.
All my love,
Jen Leffers

Dear John and family,
Be confident in how much each of you is loved by your Lord, Jesus.
It is natural for each of our hearts to yearn for more time with those we love and cherish.
I know that each of your hearts are yearning and desiring and even crying out for more time with Eve. She was and continues to be by her example a spectacular woman.
I would ask you to reflect on the Gift of Eve’s life that each of you were Blessed with in your life.
The “more” is our natual response for those we love.
But I suggest you focus on the Thank You. The Thank You for the gidt of Eve, The thank you for your God, your Jesus loving you so much, so tenderly, so completely that you were Blessed with the Gift of Eve’s life in yours for the years you shared.
Be confident in Jesus’ love of you. Be confident in knowing that Eve is with the Lord. Be confident in her prayer for you each and every day.
Give thanks and praise for being loved so much to have been Blessed wiith the Gift of Eve’s life in your life.
Xoxo Don
