Obituary of Jeanne Grace Klein

Jeanne Grace Sosnowitz Klein, 94, passed away on October 25, 2021. She was born in Stamford Connecticut on December 26, 1926. She was the daughter of the late Ida Ross Sosnowitz and Ralph Sosnowitz. She was sister to Ruth Miller and the late Beatrice Wofsey and Donald Sosnowitz. She was predeceased by her husband Dr. Harold Todd Klein. She leaves her son Robert Klein and daughter Sue Ellen Raphaelson, her son-in-law Stephen Raphaelson, her granddaughter Jennifer Andresen and her husband John, and 2 great-grandsons, Julian and Jordy.
Jeanne graduated from Stamford High School and attended Colby College in Waterville Maine.
She was admired for her charm and grace and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a lifetime member of Temple Beth El and was involved with the Sisterhood and volunteered at the Sunday School. She was a member of Hadassah. She was a long time member of the Halloween Yacht Club. She was a talented artist/painter, gourmet chef and baker and famous for her pies. She enjoyed playing golf, dancing, gardening and boating. She also traveled the four corners of the globe with her husband. She followed the stock market and loved being with her family.


The gravesite service will be held at Temple Beth El Cemetery on Roxbury Road at 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 28, Stamford. Arrangements are under the Direction of Thomas M. Gallagher Funeral Home.
