Obituary of Theresa Margaret Faustine

Theresa M. Faustine, age 66 of Milford, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, August 1, 2021 at Yale Hospital with her loving family by her side. Born in Bridgeport on March 27, 1955. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Rose Zozzaro.

She is survived by her children, Angela Hackett and her husband Robert Hackett of Milford, Frank Faustine III and his wife Tara Faustine of Norwalk. Theresa was adored by her grandchildren, Olivia Hackett, Luke Faustine, Juliana Faustine, and Sean Wells.  Several nieces and nephews, George Sembrat, Darlene Williams, Kristina Cunningham, Joey Marchionni and his daughter Eliana Marchionni.  Beloved Friends, Judith and Skip Hackett and Nancy Sivak.

Terri was a kind and loving mother, grandmother and friend. She loved to tell stories from her past and She had mastered the Italian art of speaking with her hands, the more passionate the story the higher chance that an unobservant family member would be smacked walking by.  

 A spitfire at 4’10” she was the most kind, caring, and loving woman you will ever meet. She cared deeply for everyone and everything. She once proved this by competing in an insanely difficult obstacle course designed by her grand-daughter Olivia. We believed she finished second (to Olivia) on the podium.

Terri loved celebrating life every chance she could. Birthdays, holidays, and any day that ended in “Y”.   she would bake “Grammy’s famous Oreo cookie balls” the recipe has since gone missing, and many suspect her grandson Luke Faustine is in possession and will certainly run an Oreo ball empire someday.

She will always be remembered for her charm, her laughter and the way she loved life.  Anyone who had the chance to know Terri will forever know that at some time in their book of life, they were graced with an angel on Earth, and although it is hard to turn the page when you know someone won’t be in the next chapter, the impact that she had on peoples life will certainly make the world a better place.

She is predeceased by his siblings, Margaret Pavliscak, Anthony (Chickie) Villella, Thomas Zozzaro, and Carl Zozzaro. Additionally, her Grandson Colin Hackett.

Friends are invited to attend a Graveside Service on Thursday, August 5, 2021 at 12pm at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Trumbull, CT. There will be no calling hours.
