Obituary of Evette I. Aarons

Evette Aarons passed away peacefully from this life the morning of July 15, 2021. She was surrounded and supported by her loving family during the last moment before her homecoming. Evette Aarons was one of 12 children. She was born in Cascade - St. Mary, Jamaica. She migrated to Canada in 1981. Evette had four children, later residing to Stamford CT with her family in  1983. She was predeceased by her husband David Aarons and daughter Wendy  Aarons - Pratt.

        Evette is survived by two children, Marcia Aarons and Kaydian Aarons, son-in laws Darwin Bustillo and Leonard Cannavo, grandchildren M’randa  Aarons-Goethe, Dylan Fyffe and great-granddaughter Malani Billie. 

       Evette Aarons was also survived by her siblings Pamela McDonald,  Rachael Parker, Clover Gardener, Vivene (Pat) Goldson, James Parry,  Doreen Wright, and Brenda Parry- McCallmon, along with a host of nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews.

       Evette Aarons worked many years caring and nurturing  at  Mediplex of Darian, Greenwich Hospital, Tandent Center and Nathaniel Witherell for 28 years. She also graduated from Katherine Gibbs in Norwalk, and received her GED. She will always be remembered as altruistic, loving, giving and caring.    I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.  2 Timothy 4:7

         Viewing will be held on Saturday, July 31, 2021 from 9:30 am-10:30 am at Thomas M. Gallagher Funeral Home (same building as Cognetta Funeral Home) 104 Myrtle Ave Stamford, CT (203)-359-9999. A funeral service will emmidetely follow at the funeral home at 10:30 am and followed by the interment at Spring Grove Cemetery, Darien CT.  Arrangements are under the direction of Thomas M.
