Obituary of Linda P Macchio

Linda Macchio age 67 passed away Saturday October 25, 2014 after a ten year courageous battle with breast cancer. Linda was the owner of LPM Marketing, a pioneer in market research recruiting and cancer never overcame her dynamic spirit or work ethic. Linda loved to take care of animals, go on adventures with friends and family and was a member of St. Thomas More Church. Linda built houses in the Midwest for Habitat for Humanity and worked at the Yearwood Center soup kitchen. She also was involved in other charitable endeavors. She was born to the late Adrian Posner and Sylvia Kron on June 18th 1947 in Darien, CT.A dedicated caring wife to her husband Victor Macchio. She was a loving mother to Vinnie, Stephen, Ramona, Michael and Dean. And an affectionately generous grandmother to her 17 grandchildren. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Bennet Cancer Center, Stamford or St Thomas More Church, Darien CT Services for Wake will be held on Friday the 31st at Thomas Gallagher Funeral Home 453 Shippan Ave, Stamford, CT 06902 from 4-8. Funeral Services will be at St. Thomas More Church, 374 Middlesex Road, Darien, CT Saturday November 1st at 1030 AM.
