Obituary of Paul Robert Josephson

Paul Robert Josephson passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on March 13, 2021, after a valiant battle with pancreatic cancer.
Paul was born on January 14, 1937 in Brooklyn, New York, the son of Helen and Alfred Josephson. He grew up on the South Side of Chicago. He attended the University of Connecticut, where he met his wife Susan the second day of school, wearing his requisite beanie. Paul had a gift for gab and was a natural born salesman. He and Susan then moved to Stamford, Connecticut, where they raised their family. He was in ROTC and was stationed in Fort Lee, Virginia, his first year out of college. He was always an entrepreneur, including owning and operating Craig Greenwich Electric on Greenwich Avenue for many years. He continued working until a month prior to his death.
Paul lived by the motto "family first," immersing himself in his children and grandchildren's lives, a great source of pride and joy. He had an incredible group of friends who laughed, dined, and enjoyed one another's company. Paul was a very active member of Temple Beth El in Stamford for a number of years.
A private funeral will be held on Tuesday, March 16. Donations can be made to The Bennett Cancer Center or a charity of your choice.
Paul is survived by Susan, his wife of 62 years, his three children, Michael, Linda, Jennifer, their spouses, Lisa, Kenny, Jonathan, his six grandchildren, Teddi, David, Justin, Zach, Aidan, Asher, and his sister Sandra Ciano.
