Obituary of Hannah Leah Pines

Hannah (Sanders) Pines, 98, passed away on October 19th. Beloved wife the late Gerald Pines, cherished mother of Jay (Joselyn), Frederick and the late Dr. Mitchell Pines. She was the adored grandmother of Daniel, Gabrielle, Allison (Chris) and Neil and great-grandmother of Alexander and Arabella. Hannah, an artist, received her BA and MS degrees from NYU. She was an elementary school teacher in the NYC school system. After retirement she was a volunteer at CLASP, a multigenerational facility in Great Neck, New York. Graveside funeral services will be today (Monday) at 11:15 a.m. at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery in Queens. Memorial donations can be made to the Chabad of Stamford, 770 High Ridge Road, Stamford, CT 06905.
