The untimely passing of Milouse “Mimi” Morency on October 28, 2020 was very sudden. If you knew Mimi, you know about her larger than life heart.
She was an amazing daughter (we both had inside jokes about our parents), spouse (we ended up with two guys who were great friends), mother (we were both very young mothers), friend (we were friends for 3+ decades), and human being (she had 44 amazing at times and not so amazing at times years on this planet) but she was beloved by all that knew her. Mimi was the God-Mother to my first born child and she was always very present whenever I needed her; perfect example was when she took days off work to stay with my 16 month old while I had a c-section to birth my youngest child on December 19th, 2018
Mimi had a loving family, including her partner Bernard, their 2 sons and their beloved pooch. She had big dreams for the future, her family and for “our” gardens; we were just about to put our garlics in the ground for next season and I miss her not being able to see my last hot pepper and tomato bounties.
“You may no longer be here to cook dinner for your boys and your “only girl Mia”, or to continue with gardening with me even if it was virtual due to COVID or to be a nagging spouse and mom, I promised to be there and available whenever any of your boys need me.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart, for being my friend even in my most difficult moments and especially when not one single soul wanted to deal with me (family friends or other)! Or when I did not even deserve it!
I know that in similar times of need you would have been there for me and or my family.
RIP MY FRIEND. I LOVE YOU AND WILL HOLD YOU DEAR TILL WE MEET AGAIN!
