Dear family,
"Your Betty" was a wonderful friend to me. Betty and I met while she was at Atria. She attended all my programs when she was feeling up to it. But, often would just email me to touch base and give me her warm fuzzies and pass along hysterical jokes from her brother, Bob. She was a great supporter of my programs and of me. Occasionally, we would just get together to catch up with scoop on our families. I saw her last in the coffee shop at Tully with her lovely friend and companion. It was plain old fun to be with her. Betty had the most wonderful way of wanting to know all about me, and I know she was like that with everyone. Betty enhanced my life, and I shall treasure her friendship forever.
My very best regards to you all.

Betty was a dear friend, never forgotten in spite of a vast difference in our ages as time went by. Who could forget the Tangelwood years and all the good times spent together.

I extend my sincere condolences to Marjorie, Jerry and Bob. Having had the privilege of getting to know Marjorie and Betty over the course of several years, I was able to witness the courageous battle that Betty waged against her health challenges. I so admired Betty for the dry sense of humor, strength and grace that she maintained, despite her medical issues. Please know that you all will be in my thoughts and prayers as you mourn your loss.

Betty was a wonderful cousin with an infectious laugh. She lived a full life until her illness made life difficult.
Somehow she kept herself going until death do us part. She loved playing the piano and flute in high school.
She had two caring children Marjorie Stein and Jerry Stein. She will be missed.
