We had been friends for the past 30 years. We would meet for dinner almost every month until recent times, which we would have dinner less frequently. I always admired Larry’s love of travel & enjoyed hearing the stories. He was easy to talk to & I felt he really listened to what I had to say. He had a great smile. He will be missed. My condolences to his family.

Larry was such a good guy and real gentleman. He was always happy and full of stories about his world travels. Larry and several friends from our New Canaan High School Class met for dinner every so often through the years--reminiscing and laughing about New Canaan in the "good old days" . We will all miss him very much.

My condolences to Larry's family, may you take comfort in the memories you have of your time with him.
My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of loss. .
I met Larry in 1954 when I shopped at his fathers store in New Canaan.
He was a friend of my brother, Fred Spadaccini , they went to school together.
I lost contact with Larry for about 30 years and met him again at Norwalk Community Collage,
in classes with Lifetime Learners.
It was good seeing him again.
Larry was a very interesting and happy person.
He always had some interesting stories to tell of his many trips,
He always had a smile on his face.
Larry will be missed by many.

My condolences to Larry's family. The last time I saw "cousin Larry" was likely at the funeral of my grandmother, Helen Rosen, in 1993. My recollections of Larry are few, but good. I'm sorry our branch of the family has become so disconnected from yours, but would love to hear from any of you.

I grew up with Larry in New Canaan. My Dad had Edward M Janis, Inc. on Elm Street. They were very good years. Larry was a gentleman.

I stopped at Larry’s house every day on my way to NCHS and we walked to school together, unless my dad let me drive my old Plymouth Coup. We also snuck into a couple of private pools in that car. And had a lot of fun being neighbors and friends. Wish I could have reminisced about these times with him. The Bird Sanctuary was our playground for ice skating and tag. The horse yard across from his house where we played softball. We called it Buck’s Stadium. My heartfelt sympathy to his family. Carolyn DiVenere Bloodsworth.
