Obituary of Rose Marie Creedon

Rose Marie Creedon of Stamford, CT and formerly Port Richie, FL, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Saturday March 14, 2020 at the age of 94. Rose was a very loving and sweet woman known fondly to many as Nana. She was always smiling with a fabulous sense of humor and always quick with a sassy response. Rose was born to the late Frank and Josephine Setti on September 9, 1925 in New Canaan, CT. Rose worked as a bookkeeper for Waldenbooks for several years before moving to Florida with her husband John. In Florida, Rose worked as a bookkeeper with the local Hospice program. Rose greatly enjoyed cooking and baking and would often host many formal dinner parties. She also loved doing word searches, crosswords, and puzzles. Rose spent many hours watching golf, Family Feud, and of course, The Food Network. She enjoyed spending time with her daughter, three grandchildren, pet companion Brody, and many family members and friends.

 

Rose is survived by her loving daughter Cheryl Franzetti of Stamford, CT, grandchildren Michael Franzetti (Lindsay), Jennifer Kokkoris (Peter) and John Franzetti (Elizabeth), 2 great-grandaughters, 1 future great-grandson along with her sister Antoinette, brother Paul, and many nieces and nephews. Rose is pre-deceased by her loving husband John Anthony Creedon and her infant daughter Rosemary. She was also pre-deceased by her  brothers Frank,Joseph,  and Dominick Setti, and Joseph Greco.Joseph Setti, Sr.,

Visitation and prayers are planned for June 27, 2020 from 1-5 pm at the Thomas Gallagher Funeral Home, 453 Shippan Ave. Stamford, Connecticut
