Obituary of Ha Xu Tu

Ha Xu Tu passed away peacefully at his home on June 20, 2019 surrounded by his family.

He was born in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam on November 05, 1955 and worked in a noodle shop owned by his family. He is the second oldest child of six. Ha met his wife, Lien Lu when they were 27 years old and realized they were in love after sharing a ride on a moped.  They married the following year and his legacy continues on through his son, Quyen and daughter, Anh.

Ha had a passion for aviation and adventure. His soul would light up whenever he was near airplanes or traveling with his wife and kids. You could typically find him on the weekends having a BBQ with family and friends or singing karaoke. Although he lived a rather short life, he lived it to the fullest. He has experienced zero gravity in a Cessna, rode a camel in the Mongolian desert, explored the Grand Canyon in a helicopter, and kayaked in the Bermuda Triangle. But more importantly, he unabashedly loved his wife, children, family, friends without any reservations. He has and will always be the kindest soul and most loyal friend to all who were lucky enough to have known him.  He valiantly battled cancer this past year and never gave up although the effects of the disease ultimately took his life.

A service will be held for Ha Xu Tu on Thursday, June 27, 2019 from 9:00am-12:00pm at Thomas M. Gallagher Funeral Home(203)-359-9999, 453 Shippan Ave Stamford, CT.
