To All of Our Friends at Connecticut Music. I cannot express how sad we are all to hear of Mike’s passing. I know Dan has always been so fond of him, and me and the girls were always welcomed with a warm smile and kind words from Mike when we made family visits there. Glad to count ourselves among many of his beloved customers, and friends. Thinking of Joe, and all of Mike’s family and loved ones during this most difficult time. Lynn and Dan Eng And our girls.

My sincerest condolences to your family. Mike and his dad, Joe Sr, made visiting Connecticut Music Store such a unique pleasure. I enjoy the instruments they helped me find every day, but even more, I treasure the warm smiles and friendly advice I remember them sharing.
Joe and Pete, God bless you all and all in your family. Scott O'Reilly

Dear Joe & Pete, My Sincere Condolences on the loss of your brother Mike, he was a swell guy. It's been several years since my seeing you ALL as things changed over night for my wife Linda and me with the loss of our son Michael 3 years ago.
I want to stop by the store to personal convey my condolences, your family has a lot of history with mine and it is a shame that we all get so busy and it has to take something like this for us to stop and reflex on what is really important in life.
I wish things were different for all of us, my thoughts and prayers are with you both your family's and Mike's Family.
Sincerely,
Louis G. Gabriele, III.

Joe & Charles -
It was a wonderful service at St. Catharines! I hope Michael was looking down to see just how much inspiration and love he ( AND YOU!!! ) provided for so many people and so many musicians in Fairfield County and Beyond!
And Joe, my number is on the stores machine and I want you to call me and I want to come help you with whatever you need. I'm here for you because you people have always been family to me. Maybe, before everything is taken off the racks, I might grab myself one more guitar or one more something to remember one of the most beautiful institutions that Stamford Connecticut was ever blessed to have! Your story will be sorely missed, and your empathy and kindness toward everyone that ever came into your shop was quite evident at the service. And, as I said; "You just give the word!" - and I will make you a giant tray of your favorite lasagna!
Please don't hesitate to call and I just wanted to say that from the bottom of my heart, you and your family are such special people! And anyone who came in contact and shopped at your store felt the love and caring that you put into every instrument that you sold and every guitar pick and every drumstick and every amplifier and everything that you've beautiful people have ever done for all of us! And for those who could not be there, I know that they would all say the same thing! With a broken heart I say God bless you and your family! For you especially, it must be beautiful to have a brother to begin with and then to have a brother like Michael is it gift from God!
Anything I can do brother Joe - and I will be there for you..
All my love
And RIP Mike! ( Thank God for Ratso - because I was literally getting into my car and heading up to the store when I got the text! )
Your friends have your back my brother - and I for one am not going to let you go through this alone.
Blessings and Praises
XO Gregg Numme

My sincere condolences to the entire family. Having grown up in Stamford, I've been a customer at Connecticut Music for most of my life. I can't believe we won't have Mike there anymore, he was always so kind and helpful. Most of the equipment and instruments I have around the house comes from this great music store, that is true for so many local musicians, so I'm certain that he'll never be forgotten.

Mike, you were part of our son Jordan's musical talents for 30 years and now his son shares his talent. But most of all you were a good friend, easy to talk to, went beyond to order something we needed or wanted. Our hearts are sad and beyond words to express how much we will miss you. Love to your family, Joe, Pete and friends. You will be forever in our hearts. Elaine and Ed
