Obituary of Bette Katzeff

Bette Katzeff, (née Gelblum) a 50 year resident of Stamford, Ct. died on Saturday December 22, 2018, at the age of 85, in Kensington, MD, from Alzheimer’s Disease. The youngest child of Sol & Fanny Gelblum, Bette was born in Wallingford, CT.  (New Haven).  She is predeceased by her three older siblings, Elsie, Morris & Harriet.  Beloved wife for over 50 years to the late Bob Katzeff; devoted mother to her adoring children, Dan (Cindy) Katzeff of Livingston, NJ and Julie (David) Murray of Potomac, MD and loving grandmother to her five cherished grandchildren; Andrew and Carly Katzeff and Lauren, Hannah and Eric Murray. She is survived by many wonderful nieces and nephews.  

A graveside funeral service and interment will take place at the Congregation Agudath Sholom Cemetery, 554 Westhill Road, Stamford, CT at 10 AM on Monday, December 24, 2018. Contributions in her memory can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the Pancreatic Cancer Foundation.
