Obituary of Kathleen Diana Knorr

Kathleen Diana Knorr, 34, passed away from natural causes at her home on December 8, 2018. Kate, as she was known by her friends and family, had suffered from a rare form of epilepsy called Infantile Spasms, with which she had been diagnosed shortly after her birth. She lived at home with her family her entire life. She attended Stillmeadow School, and graduated from TEAM 1 in 2005. Her brother, Marc David, had also attended the same program.

Beloved daughter, sister and aunt, Kate was lovingly taken care of by family and friends. She enjoyed listening to music and conversations of those around her. She could always tell when a new visitor arrived, and would smile when she heard a voice she knew.

Kate was predeceased by her brother, Marc David, also afflicted with the same rare epilepsy, her father, Robert Peter, and Aunt Patricia Lanigan. Kate leaves behind her mother, Joann, brother, Michael, sister in law Melissa and niece Kaela, and her sister Julie, brother in law James, and nieces Liesel and Hannah.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday December 11, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Gabriel's Parish, 914 Newfield Avenue Stamford, CT 06905. No calling hours will be held. The family sincerely acknowledges the compassionate medical care of Dr. Jennifer Henkind and the staff of Stamford Pediatrics.
