Obituary of Jane Marie Kilian

Jane Marie Kilian, 88 of Stamford, Connecticut died peacefully on December 4, 2018 at home in the presence of her family. Jane was born in Stamford on April 7, 1930 to Edward and Lillian Corrigan. She graduated from Mother of God Academy class of 1948.

Jane is predeceased by her husband Francis E. Kilian. They were married October 4, 1951 and spent 60 years together. They particularly enjoyed the many years spent during their retirement in Daytona Beach Shores, Florida. She is also predeceased by her brother, Arthur Corrigan. Jane is survived by her daughter, Nancy Kilian Driscoll and her husband James of Ellsworth, Maine, her son, Stephen F. Kilian and his wife Deirdre of Stamford. In addition to her children, Jane is survived by her five grandchildren, Brian M. Dorsey of Newtown, Connecticut, Jessica N. Gutchess (and husband Dan) of Somerville, Massachusetts, Erin A. Dennis (and husband Brian) of Indian Head, Maryland, Ciara M. Kilian of Stamford and Owen M. Kilian of   Stamford, as well as her great-granddaughter, Avery May Gutchess of Somerville, Massachusetts. Jane’s grandchildren and great-granddaughter brought great joy and happiness to her life.

Calling hours will be Sunday, December 9, 2018 from 3 pm to 6 pm at Thomas M. Gallagher Funeral Home, 453 Shippan Avenue, Stamford, Connecticut (203-359-9999). A Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at The Church of Saint Cecilia, 1184 Newfield Avenue, Stamford, Connecticut on Monday, December 10, 2018 at 10:30 a.m.
