Jose Ricardo “JR” Thomas Horton

Jose Ricardo Thomas Horton earned his wings peacefully surrounded by loved ones on September 28, 2018. Jose Ricardo was born November 9, 2016. During his short time on Earth he touched the lives of many and was loved tremendously by family and friends. His life was a brief gift to us that will live on. He was a fighter and fought to the end with odds stacked against him. Jose Ricardo is the son of Shelley Lowe and Jose Horton of Stamford, CT. He is survived by his sister, Mary-Kate Selena Horton. His maternal grandparents are Ralph and Deborah Lowe of Stamford; and paternal grandparents Jose Velez and the late Paulina Horton. Jose Ricardo was a little boy with the biggest smile, he never failed to make someone happy. He is survived by his cousins, Jacquelynn, Jazmin, Julianna, Jason, Jenna, and Jaden Velez where his memory will live on forever.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Gabriel Church 914 Newfield Ave Stamford, CT on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at 11:00 am.  The interment will follow at St. John Cemetery in Norwalk, CT.
