Obituary of Penny Block

Penny Block passed away on September 11, 2018 at Stamford Hospital after a long courageous battle with Colon Cancer.  She was 57.    Penny was a 20 year teacher in the Bronx, NY and was dedicated to her family. She was very supportive of her children’s activities being involved in their little league teams when they were young while being the team mother for Rubino Brothers Little League Team.  She was a long time member of Congregation Agudath Sholom Synagogue in Stamford.  She is survived by her loving husband Stephen; two sons:  Harry and Stanley Block.  Also survived by her father, Barry Lesser and one sister, Eileen Cohen as well a brother Michael Lesser. 

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday (TODAY), September 12, 2018 at Congregation Agudath Sholom 301 Strawberry Hill Ave Stamford, CT. Interment to follow at Mount Judah Cemetery in Ridgewood, NY.
