Obituary of Margot Cocolis Kalaizes

Margot Cocolis Kalaizes passed away on Sept 1, 2018. She was born on October 23, 1927 in Stamford, CT. Margot is the daughter of the late William D. & Helen White Cocolis. She graduated from Stamford High School and Berkley Secretarial School in NY City. She worked for many years at the family business, The Halfway House in Darien, CT. Margot finished her career as a Statistical Secretary at Champion International in Stamford. She was predeceased by her husband, Vasilios G. Kalaizes and her sister, Jean Mulkerin. She is survived by her brother James W. Cocolis (Margaret) and her nieces and nephew. She was a lifetime member of the Church of the Archangels as well as the Ladies Philoptochos Society.


Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 with a Trisagion Service to be held at 6:30 p.m. at Thomas M. Gallagher Funeral Home 453 Shippan Ave. Stamford, CT (203)-359-9999. The Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at The Church of the Archangels, 1527 Bedford St., Stamford CT.

The Interment will follow at Fairfield Memorial Park Cemetery in Stamford.
In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to The Church of the Archangels Capital Fund Campaign.
