Obituary of George Richard Hanna

George Richard Hanna, of Stamford, died on Sunday August 26, 2018 at Cassena Care in Stamford. He was born in Danbury on July 25, 1952 to Kenneth and Christine (Leonard) Hanna. He was a graduate of Immaculate High School and Manhattan College. He began his employment career with the Social Security Administration, moving on to a partnership in a limousine service, and then became a real estate researcher and recorder, until health issues put him into early retirement. He is survived by three brothers, Charles and his wife Maureen, and John, both of Stamford, and Robert and his wife Dale of New Milford, and one sister Emily Hayes and her husband Richard of New Jersey, and several nieces and nephews,grand nephews and grand nieces. He was predeceased by two brothers, Thomas and William, and two nephews Jay and Timothy. Services will beheld at Our Lady Star of the Sea, 1200 Shippan Ave. Stamford, Ct. 06902 on Wednesday September 5, at 11:00 a.m. Donations in George's name may be made to: Our Lady of Grace Preschool, 635 Glenbrook Rd.
