Sophie Rose Kelly passed away peacefully at her home on June 14th, she was 99 years old.

Sophie was born on September 21, 1918, in Stamford, where she was a lifelong resident. She was the daughter of Albin and Stephania (Budnick) Kozlowski. Her loving husband, Alfred J. Kelly, predeceased her as did her seven brothers and sisters.

Sophie is survived by her daughter Patricia Loffredo (Ralph) of Davie, Florida and son Alfred Kelly of Stamford. She was the loving grandmother to Michael Pinto (Jennifer) of Monroe, Tara Guastella (John Spoto) and Jill DeLeo all of Stamford. She was the beloved great-grandmother to Ronni Ann Mancini (Louis), Dustin DeLeo, Michael Pinto Jr., Briana Guastella, Alexa Guastella, Zachary Pinto and Mason Grieco. She was the great-great-grandmother to Gia Mancini, Chase Aultmon and Giovanni Mancini.

Sophie, or Nana as she was most commonly known, got her greatest joy from her family. She loved her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren with all her heart and made each one of them feel like they were her favorite. She taught her family how to love unconditionally by the example that she showed and was a blessing to all who had her in their lives for all these years. Her strength, courage and kindness will always be remembered and she is already missed.
