Obituary of John C Donovan, Jr.

John C. Donovan Jr. "Jack" lost his hard fought battle with cancer on Saturday, February 17, 2018. Jack entertained everyone with his culinary skill, musical talent and saved countless computer disasters with his IT expertise. His humor, intellect and intensity will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.
Jack is survived by his loving and devoted wife Lisa and his pride and joy, son Owen.
He is also survived by his parents Dr. John C. (Jack) and Amy Donovan, and mother-in-law, Renee Trell. Jack has many siblings who adored him: brothers – Patrick, Ryan, Brady (Penny) and Daniel; and sisters - Courtney (John) Souza and Dr. Patricia A. Donovan. He is also survived by brothers-in-law, Michael and David Trell; and niece and nephew Caroline and William Souza.
Jack was predeceased by his mother, Sue Benson Donovan; grandparents, Daniel (Fran) and Helen Donovan and father-in-law, Edwin Trell.
Jack's family is very grateful for the love and support shown him by his lifelong Seton friends: Tim Mollen, James Root, Patrick McCormack, Patrick Hull, John Crossett, John Giroux, and Mark Murphy.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at 12:30 p.m. at the Thomas M. Gallagher Funeral Home (next to the Knights of Columbus), 453 Shippan Ave., Stamford, CT, 203-359-9999. The family will be sitting Shiva at their home at 75 W Glen Drive Stamford on February 20th and 21 from 7 p.m.-9 p.m.
