Obituary of Kenneth Francis Fahan, Sr
Kenneth Francis Fahan, Sr passed away peacefully on November 16, 2017 at the Stamford Hospital. He was 85. Mr. Fahan was the son of Constance Dooling Fahan and John Edward Fahan and was raised in Stamford, CT. Ken was an Electrical Foreman for local 501/3 I.B.E.W. He was a sixty-year veteran of the Springdale Volunteer Fire Dept and held offices as Chief Engineer and Superintendent of Alarms. Ken was a band member with the Springdale Fire Company Marching Band. He also volunteered and chaired numerous committees with the Fire Department. He was a US Army Veteran during The Korean War. Mr. Fahan was a former light-weight Boxer with the CYO and won the Golden Gloves in his division. He was a 60 year parishioner at St Cecilia Church in Stamford. He was pre deceased by his parents and one brother John (Jack) Fahan and one sister Shirley Fahan Koehler as well as his wife, Audrey Bouton Fahan. Mr. Fahan is survived by 5 Children: Kenneth Jr, Michael (Jeannie) Fahan, Sharon (Joe) Vartuli, Lisa O’Connor and Shawn (Jacqueline) Fahan. Also survived by 11 grand-children and several nieces and nephews. In addition he is survived by a sister-in-law, Jean M. Bouton and Virginia Bouton.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM on Monday, November 20, 2017 at St Cecilia Church 1184 Newfield Ave Stamford, CT. Interment will follow at St John Cemetery, Darien.
