Obituary of Walter M. Levi

Walter Levi, 87 of Stamford, CT, died peacefully at home on April 14, 2014. He grew up in New Rochelle, NY, graduated from Brown University and later moved to Connecticut. His life work was in Imported Food and Finance. He was an avid reader and enjoyed gardening in his earlier years. During his first marriage to Joan Levi, he had 3 children. That marriage ended in divorce. He then married Janet Siegel who had three children of her own. She predeceased him. He had a long-time partnership with Ruth Lowy who died in October 2013. He is survived by 3 children, 3 grandchildren, 3 step-children and 3 step-grandchildren. At Mr. Levi's request there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Cancer Care of Westchester, NY or the charity of your choice. The tribute to the life of Walter Levi will go forward in memories of family and friends.
