Obituary of Elaine Gerstenhaber

~~Elaine Gerstenhaber, 91, of Stamford, died on 10/23/17 at Stamford Hospital after a short illness. She loved to read and do crossword puzzles and visit with her great grandchildren, Emmy & Ellie. Born in Brooklyn, she was the daughter of the late Sadie (Brenner) Reich and the late David Reich. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt. She is survived by her grandson Jason and his wife Jodi, granddaughter Jessica and her partner Nicholas, her son Lee and wife Carol, and daughter Laurie.  She is also survived by her 3 cherished great-granddaughters, Emerson, Ellis and Cheyann as well as her sister Roslyn Reich, nephew Guy Rossman and his wife Tirza and several others nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters, Harriet and Florence, her brother Milton, her husband Isadore Gerstenhaber and her long time partner Lawrence M Chiappetta. 

The funeral will be graveside TOMORROW, Tuesday October 24, 2017,at 11:00am at Agudath Sholom  Cemetery Westhill Road in Stamford.
