Our Sympathy and Prayers to the Rothermich Family.
Reading about John's beautiful and accomplished life was amazing as he was a quiet and humble man as we saw him come and go to sing season in and out with our choir family at St. Leos. Always a smile on his face and a kind word, he will be missed.
May your many happy memories comfort you during this time and in the days, months and years to come.

My family and I are saddened to hear about Uncle John's passing, and send condolences and blessings to Helen and all of my cousins and their families. Despite the passage of time, I vividly remember John's qualities of extraordinary calm, gentleness, kindness, and generosity. These qualities, together with a great sense of humor and tendency to not take things too seriously, made him a special person. I feel fortunate to have known him and to have been named after him too.
Much love to you all . . .
John

To all of the Rothermich Family, I send my sincerest condolences and prayers to you at this time of loss.
Your father, husband, and brother, was one of the kindest and gentlest men I have ever known. I will always remember his signature smile and stories about his hometown of St. Louis and the university (St. Louis University) we both went to. Very fond memories.
God had better be prepared for some good story telling when John finds the time to sit with him.
As with many great 'guys', we are all lucky to have shared time with them and consider myself a better person to have known him.
His address may have changed but but he has friends and family wherever he goes- and he's bringing that contagious smile!
Rest in Peace Mr. Rothermich, you will not be forgotten. Love to all.
Michael Joyce
