Obituary of Charlese Elaine Jones

Charlese Elaine Jones, 57, a lifelong resident of Stamford, Connecticut passed away after a long battle with Cancer on Wednesday, March 19, 2014. Charlese was born in Orangeburg, South Carolina on January 15, 1957 to the late Henry Lee Jones and Bertha Lee Jones. Charlese a graduate of Stamford High School class of 1976 was a former employee of the Sheraton Hotel and Security Officer for Reckson Security in Stamford's Landmark Mall. She was both a loving and caring mother, grandmother, and friend to many. One of her many passions was cooking authentic soul food for her family and friends to enjoy. Most important in her life was the love for her three daughters and three grandchildren who meant the world to her. Charlese is survived by her three loving daughters, Robyn E. Jones, Wendy R. Jones and Sharlay K. Jones; as well as three grandchildren; Bri'Anna N. Jones, David D. Jones and Jalen N. Stevens all of whom reside in the District of Columbia. In addition she is also survived by her mother Bertha Lee Jones of Stamford, CT and nine siblings, Linda Riddick & Sharon Jones of Norwalk, CT, Lauretta McCadden, Janet Jones, Thomasina Jones, Maxine Jones, Jennifer Jones, Patricia Jones, and Gregory Jones all of Stamford CT as well as a host of nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service to commemorate her life will be held at The Burning Bush Church located at 795 Atlantic Street, Stamford, CT 06902 on March 29, 2014 from 1PM-3PM.
