Dear Melanie and Family,
It was with great sadness that I learned of the passing of Judge D'Andrea. He was always such a lovely gentleman, always kind and considerate when I had the opportunity to see him at times when he undoubtedly was not even feeling his best. I will always remember him, it is impossible not to. May God bless you and your family with His Peace in knowing that Frank is surrounded in His Love.
Love,
Mary Coppolo

As President of the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association and as a brother lawyer, I want to extend my deepest sympathies to your family. Judge D'Andrea was a lawyer and judge of compassion and heart, a pillar of the bench and the bar, a professional in the truest sense that we all strive to attain and emulate. Frank will be missed dearly while the lessons he taught us and the memories he provided will live on forever.
All my love,
Mike D'Amico

I had the privilege of trying a jury case to verdict before Judge D'Andrea. He was always even tempered, logical and went out of his way to make attorneys and clients as comfortable as possible. He had a keen analytical mind which he combined with common sense resulting in fair and just results. He always had a hello for lawyers and his dry sense of humor was delightful. My deepest condolences to his Honor's family. They should know, as I am sure they do, that his memory will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.

Re: Frank H. D'Andrea Jr., 85, Stamford Attorney, Superior Court Judge
This is a great loss to the family and the bar; however, Judge D'Andrea's inspiration will live with us for a long time. Judge D'Andrea has been a great inspiration to many lawyers in the profession, and his distinguished leadership will encourage lawyers to serve in the public service with distinction.

I am so sorry for your loss. Uncle Nick (Scutti) just told me about Cousin Frankie's long fight with heart disease. I remember him and his family (Mary Jo is my contemporary) from my early youth.
(Uncle) Dr. Frank D'Andrea and Aunt Jo used to have us to their home (probably in the 1960's) where I remember playing under the baby grand piano and the scent of his cigars. My grandmother was Aunt Jo's sister, Madeline Masotta Vitelli.
I just had to write as it is unbelievable how time flies and how lives evolve. Everyone loved Frankie, Jr.
God Bless.,
Lois
