Obituary of Helene S. Bodall

Helene S. Bodall, age 83, of Stamford, CT, formerly of Brooklyn, NY, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 7th at Calvary Hospital in the Bronx. Helene was born on July 24, 1930 in New York City. She was the daughter of Frank and Kunegunda Wyrazik. She is survived by her sister Kazia, sons Robert and Stephen, daughter-in-law Kathy, and grandchildren Kristy and Mike. She was predeceased by her husband Stephen and brothers, Charles and Frank. Helene loved the many years she worked as a librarian at St. Leonard and St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Schools in Brooklyn, NY. She retired in 2003, when she moved to Stamford, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, March 11th, at 10:00 am in St. Maurice RC Church, 358 Glenbrook Road, Stamford, CT. There will be no formal calling hours. The interment will immediately follow the Mass at St. Charles Cemetery, 2015 Wellwood Avenue, Farmingdale, NY. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Helene's favorite charity, St. Joseph's Indian School, 1301 North Main Street, Chamberlain, SD, 57325.
