Obituary of Darrell A. Grant

Darrell Grant of Stamford, CT died on January 5, 2014. Some people called him D others called him Darrell, either way; he departed our lives way too soon. Darrell loved to "tinker" with things. In his younger years, he caused much grief when he attempted to "fix" things around the house that never worked again. This tinkering led to a love of race car motors and electronics always taking either apart to see how it operated. Darrell worked at various mechanical companies like M&B Machine Shop, however working as a critical infrastructure engineer for Time Warner was his ultimate accomplishment. Among the many that are so sorry to lose him are his daughter, Virginia Kenneth, two grandsons, Eric and Anthony Ginel, his brother Shawn (Jennifer) Grant, his bonus brother Robert Edwards, his mother, Ester Grant-Tinsley and Dad Robert Tinsley, three uncles Lester Mckoy, James (Susan) McKoy and Delourch (Netta) Grant as well as a very special Auntie Liz, nieces, nephews and a HOST of cousins. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 12, 2014 from 5 pm-7pm at Shippan's Thomas M. Gallagher Funeral Home( same building as Bosak Funeral Home) 453 Shippan Ave, Stamford. A funeral service will follow in The Thomas M. Gallagher Funeral Home at 7 pm. In lieu of flowers please make expressions to DAG Grandchildren Trust Fund, FTB-FCU, 29 Grove Street, Stamford, CT 06901.
