Obituary of Angela DeSantis

Angela DeSantis, 104 years old, died peacefully Saturday, November 30, 2013 at the Smith House residence after an incredibly long, happy life. She was born in Providence, RI and has been a Stamford resident for over twenty years. She was pre deceased by her husband Albert, former owner of DeSantis Bakery. She is survived by her daughter Janice and son-in-law Arthur DeGaetano, her two beloved grandsons Paul and Marc DeGaetano and their wives Molly and Roseann. Her long life gave her the joy of enjoying her six great-grandchildren, Marc, Drew, Lyla, Gavin, Sofia and Dylan. Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 3rd from 4-7 pm at Shippan's Thomas M. Gallagher Funeral Home(same building as Bosak Funeral Home) 453 Shippan Avenue Stamford, CT (203)359-9999. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at St Aloysius Church 21 Cherry St New Canaan, CT. Burial will follow at St Mary Cemetery, Greenwich, CT.
