Obituary of Pearl Rosenbaum

Pearl Reiner Rosenbaum passed away on September 10th at age 96. She was born and raised in Brooklyn NY, the daughter of Mae (Dembicer) and Meyer Reiner. She grew up as an ardent Brooklyn Dodgers and Frank Sinatra fan. She was a 1948 graduate of Brooklyn College and later earned a Master's Degree in Education. She married Harry Rosenbaum in 1953 and they moved to Stamford, CT in 1957 where she worked as a real estate agent for 40 years until she retired at age 90. Pearl was proud of her independent lifestyle including driving until she was 93 and living in her beautiful home until she was 95, where she and her husband Harry raised their five children. She enjoyed working out at the gym well into her 90's, boasting an impressive two-minute plank and a kettle bell workout. Pearl could be found reading the New York Times every day and enjoyed going to and taking her grandchildren to Broadway shows, walking two miles in her neighborhood daily, and cooking her famous brisket for holiday meals.

Pearl loved being the matriarch of the family and was so proud of her beloved children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her children, David (Denise), Jonathan (Georgina), Mark (Brenda), Janet (Chris) and Lynne (Laddy) as well as grandchildren Allison (Tanner), Sarah (Trey), Marcy, Megan (Logan), Max, Harrison (Kerry), Kendall and Zachary. Also great-grandchildren Madison Mae, Ayden Lee, and a third great-grandchild due to Allison & Tanner in October, as well as her brother Sherman (Adrienne) Reiner and her nephews Hamilton (Michelle), Brett (Melissa), Marc (Beth) and their families. Pearl was predeceased by her loving husband Harry Rosenbaum.

Pearl was loved by and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
