Obituary of Coleen C. Lewis

Coleen Sullivan Lewis
Coleen Catherine Sullivan Lewis, 64, passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2023, in Bloomington, IN at IU Health Bloomington Hospice House, after an extended period of failing health.
Coleen was born in Stamford, CT on June 1,1959, to Eugene and Patricia (Slyker) Sullivan. She was educated in Stamford Public Schools, graduated from Stamford High School in 1977, and later became a Registered Nurse.

Coleen married David Allen Lewis on October 31, 1989. They moved to Bedford, IN and bought their first home. Coleen had always wanted to be a Mom. This was evidenced by the love she showered on her nephew, Charlie, when he was born in 2000. Coleen and Dave's prayers were answered when they welcomed their daughter, Karen Elaine, into their loving home in February, 2006.
Coleen is survived by her husband Dave; her mother Patricia (Pat); her daughters Karen Lewis and Stephanie Lee Jones; her granddaughter Shaylynn; her siblings Gene Sullivan and Anna Stearne; her nephew Charlie Sullivan; her niece Christina Stearne; and her sister-in-law Jill Lovello. She was predeceased by her father and her sister Diana Sullivan.
