Obituary of Enma R. Garcia

Enma R. Garcia 81, of Stamford, CT passed away Tuesday February 28, 2023 as a result of heart failure.  Enma was born February 15, 1942 to Julio and Angela Garcia, in Guatemala. She was the eldest of seven siblings. She is survived by her sister Silvia A. Garcia, brother Julio Edgar Garcia, husband Hector M. Garcia, her son Hector G. Garcia, her daughter Claudia M. (Roberto) Garcia, six grandchildren Roberto M. (Christina) Nieves, Bobbi Nieves, Rebecca Nieves, Valeria Santana, Aaliyah J. Nieves and Emmanuel G. Garcia, three great grandchildren Savannah M. Nieves, Peyton J. Padilla and Penelope R. Nieves. 

Enma was an educator and true caregiver. Not only, did her help extend to her family but also Stamford Public School staff and many others within her community. She was kind, soft spoken, and always had time to lend a helping hand. As of 2018, Enma dedicated her life to helping raise her great grandchildren. Enma, lived a loving and joyful life. She was so many things to so many people not only a great- grandmother but also, a mother to two children, an amazing wife to her husband, a caring sister, and grandmother. She will be missed dearly. 

Enma’s home coming was received by her pre-deceased father and siblings. Father Julio Garcia, brothers, Roberto J. Garcia, Angel R. Garcia, Juan A. Garcia, and Rudy A. Garcia. 

Enma will be missed greatly. Her memory will live on in our hearts, family, and generations to come.

Viewing will be held on Monday, March 6, 2023 from 4-8 PM at Thomas M Gallagher Funeral Home 104 Myrtle Ave Stamford, CT 06902 (203) -359-9999

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at  10 AM in the Chapel at Thomas M. Gallagher Funeral Home.

Interment will follow at St John Cemetery Darien, CT
