My Dear friend John. My life is infinitely better for having known you and a less vibrant shade, with you gone. Our little golf family, shall miss you dearly. You lived with passion and conviction and made each moment a better one. A great husband, a proud, father, but above all a good man. Webster defines an “original”, as that from which a copy, reproduction, or translation is made. You were an original and I shall miss our chats and your stories. All love to Chris-Ann, Brian and Tim.

John will be greatly missed by the Hubbard Heights golf family. We were all richer for his stories, his wit and his friendship.
John and I shared a love of summers in Maine and I'll think of John every time I return to Maine. My condolences to Chrys-Ann, Brian and Tim.

My dear friend John Young. The sadness is so strong, but so is my joy in having been your friend and having shared so much. Great golf partner (whose putting style I tried to emulate) outstanding business associate, fellow Army sergeant, cocktail buddy. But most of all, the truest of friends - you will be missed by my family and me, as well as by all who had the privilege of knowing you. You were above all, a Prince. Rest in peace.

The end of an era in the Golf Community in Stamford and as always you’ve been a dear friend in good and bad times. The world is a little bit more sad without you announcing on the 1st Tee “It’s National Get Naked Day” to everyone in earshot. That and an infinite number of other things will be sorely missed. I was incredibly sad to hear of my dear friend John's passing. I have worked with John for 20 years and we developed a friendship in addition to professional relationship. He talked often of Chrys-Ann and Brian and Tim and his immense pride in both was clear. Also loved John's wry sense of humor and we often laughed about the inane side of our business. He knew I loved him but I wish I could have expressed that one last time. But I am comforted that he did get to spend some of his last days in St. Maarten his favorite place he would tell me. The angels are having a heck of a time with John joining them!!! Rest in peace sweet man.
