Obituary of Evelyn Nadler Kugelman

Evelyn Kugelman, a long-time Stamford resident, passed away on November 18, 2022, after a lengthy and debilitating illness.  She was 97. 

Born in the Bronx, New York on October 15, 1925, to Anna Gitis Nadler and Morris Nadler, she spent her early childhood years in New Jersey, then moved to Manhattan, where she graduated from Julia Richman High School before attending Hunter College and New York University. 

Mrs. Kugelman was employed for over thirty years as a paraprofessional instructional assistant by the Stamford Public Schools at Toquam and Springdale Elementary Schools. She retired at the age of 85.

She was predeceased by her husband, Stephen A. Kugelman and her adored grandson, William Matthew Harris.

She is survived by her daughter, Juli Harris of Stamford

A graveside service will take place on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Sharon Gardens Cemetery, 273 Lakeview Avenue, Valhalla, New York, 10595.
