Obituary of Renee M. Boyd

Renee M. Boyd (Williams), age 69, of Stamford, CT, passed away on October 1st, 2022. Born on June 6, 1953, she is predeceased by her parents John and Eugenia Williams. Renee was a loving and devoted mother and wife. She is survived by her two daughters Tajoura L. Davis of Concord, NH, Remy L. Boyd of Lawrence, MA, her husband of 42 years James A. Boyd of Stamford, CT; first husband Bobbie Davis (Fishkill, NY) and five siblings: Thomas Williams (Charleston, SC), Releesa Williams-Allen (Stratford, CT), John Williams, Jr. (Concord, NC), Alvin Williams, Sr. (Bridgeport, CT) and Francine Williams (Stratford, CT) several nieces, nephews and extended family.

Blessed with natural talent, Renee created works of art from any medium. She was also a business professional who graduated from Choate Rosemary Hall (Class of 1971) and later earned an Associate of Science degree from Norwalk Community College, a Bachelor of Science from the University of Bridgeport, a Master of Science in Health Care Administration, and an MBA from the University of Maryland Global Campus (Phi Kappa Phi). 

Her light, charm, wit, and warm presence were a beacon for close family and dear friends, forever to be cherished and missed.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, October 14th from 3-5 pm at Thomas M. Gallagher Funeral Home, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, CT. A reception will follow for invited guests.
