Obituary of Mary Stefani Guirand

Mary Stefani Guirand age 36, lovingly known to all as Stefani, sadly departed this earth on Tuesday, September 13, 2022. Stefani was born on August 20, 1986, to Immacula Lazarre and Pierre-Marie Guirand in Stamford, Connecticut. Stefani attended Stamford Public Schools and graduated from Westhill High School in 2004. She was a licensed esthetician and certified nursing assistant. She was currently employed as a Telecommunications Manager at Charter Communications in Flushing, New York.

Stefani truly lived life to the fullest by making memories with friends and family, taking pictures, telling jokes, and being the life of the party! Her life was filled with joy and a light that shined so bright to anyone she encountered. Stefani loved her family, flowers, reading books, candles, and self-care.

Stefani is survived by her loving daughter, Malaiya Prosper; parents, Immacula Lazarre and Pierre-Marie Guirand; Loving sister, Sofia Guirand, Marilyn Guirand Milhomme (husband Elizee), brother, Justin Lazarre (wife, Jessica), brother, Fritz Dominique Guirand, brother Vladimir Sufra (wife, Melissa Cooper), grandmother, Marie Lorthe, grandfathers Dominique Guirand and Rigal Lazarre; nieces and nephews, Elisa Milhomme, Marlyna Milhomme, Ellis Milhomme, Aiden Lazarre, Kyle Lazarre, Cheyanne Guirand, Rosylia Sufra, Vlynsia Sufra and Royal Sufra. Stefani is also fondly remembered by her many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Stefani was predeceased by her grandmother Nivrose Lazarre.

The family invites relatives and friends to a public viewing on Saturday September 24, 2022 at 8:00 AM to 9:15 AM at Thomas M. Gallagher Funeral Home, 104 Myrtle Ave, Stamford, CT (203)-359-9999, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at Saint Mary of Stamford Parish 566 Elm Street, Stamford, Connecticut 06902. The family will leave the funeral home at 9:15 AM to proceed to the church. Following the interment, a reception will follow at the Knights of Columbus, 507 Shippan Avenue, Stamford, Connecticut 06902.
