Harvey was an accomplished artist, Air Force Veteran, business owner, author, handball player, book lover, Motown aficionado, proud attendee at grandkid’s birthday parties, ball games, dance recitals, and so much more.

He had one man shows at the Aegis Gallery in New York City, a gallery known for exhibiting some of the foremost Abstract Expressionists of the day.

Harvey’s life as a full-time artist began in 1984, after moving to Cornwall, Connecticut. He has exhibited regularly in solo and group exhibitions throughout Litchfield County, was a founding member of Artwell Gallery in Torrington and a member of the Exhibition Committee of the Marie Louise Trichet Gallery at Wisdom House.
