Obituary of Peter Lewis Beardsley

Peter Lewis Beardsley of Stamford, CT passed away suddenly on May 26, 2022 of natural causes.

Born on February 22, 1958 in Waterbury CT, Peter was the son of Frederick Berkley Beardsley and Betsy Heminway (of Watertown CT) and step-son of Joelle Beardsley. He was raised in Middlebury CT, graduated from McTernan School in Waterbury  CT and South Kent School in Kent CT.

Peter was artistically inclined and started Beardsley Fine Framing in Norwalk CT with his then-wife Judy Beardsley. Peter was an avid sports person, excelling at horseback riding and skiing. Always known for his easy temperament, postiveness and kindness, he enjoyed volunteering at the Laurel House in the later part of his life.

Peter leaves two brothers, Bill and Jim, two sisters, Sharon and Patty, four nieces and nephews and eight grandnieces and nephews. He will always be loved and deeply missed by his family and many friends. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the Laurel House in Stamford CT. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
