Obituary of Richard William Fierstein

Richard Wiliam "Dick" Fierstein, 86, of Wilton, CT, passed away on April 17th 2022 at Norwalk Hospital, Norwalk, CT.

A graveside funeral service will be held at Lincoln Park Cemetery in Warwick, RI on Wednesday, April 20th at 1:00 pm with Rabbi Jay TelRav of Temple Sinai, Stamford CT officiating.There will be no visiting hours. Thomas M. Gallagher Funeral Home will  be handling the funeral arrangements.

Dick  was born in Providence, RI to Lester and Belle (Cohn) Fierstein on April 24th 1935. He went to Hope High School in Providence, RI and graduated in 1953. He went on to earn a degree in  Business Administration from Boston University. Dick worked in sales, first in fashion and eventually owning an art company. He enjoyed cooking, making art, volunteering, spending time with his family, and making people laugh.

Dick is survived by his loving wife Alice (Silverstein) to whom he was married for 62 years, of Wilton, CT. His son, Charlie (Debra) of Essex, England, his daughter Bonni (Dan) of Norwalk, CT and granddaughters Cassandra, Amber and Roxy. He was predeceased by his parents.
