Obituary of Roger E. Terry

Roger E. Terry, long time resident of Norwalk, passed away at Norwalk Hospital on February 15, 2022 with his loving family by his side. Roger was born on November 17, 1947 in Stamford, CT to the late Chester Terry and Edna Gardner. Roger was 74 years old at the time of his passing. Roger loved his family first and foremost. He worked at Clairol running the line, and worked for them for 30+ years. He enjoyed spending time at Grace Church where he served on the altar. He also volunteered his time when he wasn’t at work leading a 2-week daily vacation bible school for the kids at church. Roger loved working with children and enjoyed working with his mother. Roger is survived by his loving sisters Edith Harris and Laura Demm and her husband Chris, and many cousins and extended family. Besides his mother Edna, Roger was predeceased by his brother-in-law Jules Harris, and his aunts and uncles. A wake for Roger will take place from 5PM to 7PM on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at the Thomas M. Gallagher Funeral Home, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, CT 06902. A funeral service will be celebrated at 12PM on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at the Christ Episcopal Church, 2 Emerson Street, Norwalk, CT 06855.
