Obituary of Dr. Gustavo Reynoso

Gustavo Reynoso, MD passed away at his home in Trumbull, CT on Friday November 10, 2017. He was born on September 18, 1932.
He was predeceased by his wife of 56 years, Mary Ann (Hosler) Reynoso. He is survived by his children,
 Ana Maria Marsland, Gustavo Reynoso (Robin) Diana Grilo (Carlos) Patricia Taggart (Ross), his grandchildren  Jake Marsland, Alexander Reynoso, Nicholas Reynoso, Christina Grilo, Stephanie Grilo, Olivia Prince, Victoria Prince and Donovan Taggart, and his great grandson Austin Marsland.
Before retiring in 1995 he was the Chief of the Department of Pathology at Norwalk Hospital.
In his long and distinguished career, Dr. Reynoso was best known for his work as the head of the research team that refined the technology and protocols related to the use of antigen identification as a potential marker for tumors in the body.
Since his retirement, he and Mary Ann spent much of the year in Florida where they were avid boaters. They loved to entertain, travel and especially loved to cruise. He had a life-long passion for reading and was tireless in his pursuit of knowledge.
He was an active member and recently served on the Board of the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Charlotte County in Port Charlotte, Florida.

The family will honor him in a private ceremony and plans are pending for a celebration of his life.
